What we did
- Placed a trans-palatal arch to gently widen the upper arch
- Started with the upper front teeth to correct their position
- Gradually added the rest of the upper teeth into the braces
- Used a sequence of wires to straighten the teeth and improve the bite
- Added small palatal ramps behind the upper front teeth to help open the bite
- Treated the lower teeth carefully, keeping bone support in mind
- Used elastics in the final stage to settle the bite
